At Tommy V’s Urban Kitchen we offer an eclectic menu showcasing Californian, New American, and Contemporary Italian dishes. From Stone Fired Gourmet Pizzas, hand crafted burgers, house made pastas, to tantalizing seafood , we have something for everyone.Francisco Montellano learned early the joys of food and family. After studying the hospitality industry, he got the opportunity to follow his dreams to California and began working with the Maggiore Family in 1994 at Joey’s California Bistro, in Coronado, where he began as a shift manager, and soon after was upgraded to a manager. In 1996, Francisco was moved to Tomaso’s in Coronado, where he assisted in the opening, working alongside Melissa Maggiore, as a General Manager. After several years in Coronado, Tomaso Maggiore transferred Francisco to one of his flagship California restaurants, Tuscany, in La Costa. There, Francisco was the General Manager and was responsible for all major decisions. Throughout his years at Tuscany, Francisco refined his skills in the business, learned how to operate and manage the kitchen, and even learned how to prepare the recipes.BAR

Francisco became an integral part of the business, as well as the local community. Francisco was the General Manager of Tuscany for over 10 years, and when the Maggiore’s sold the business he moved to Tommy V’s. While at Tommy V’s, Francisco continued his dedication as head server and assistant to Melissa Maggiore. In 2018, upon Melissa’s move back to Arizona, Francisco has become the General Manager once again and is responsible for all daily operating decisions. In the Bressi Ranch community, Francisco has become synonymous with Tommy V’s. He knows every guest by name, knows the ins and outs of the business, and has plans to continue the legacy of Tomaso Maggiore in the restaurant while elevating it to the next level. As a father and husband, he is dedicated to continuing the success of the restaurant and serving the community he has grown to love.
